A wonderful Executive Committee

Active DALs

New chapters

New members joining Chapters

Inspirational Quiet Days

Jan Johnson as our speaker for Spring Retreat,

Province IV and National Council's leadership and help

First International Friendship Trip to the Dominican Republic made by eight of our Junior Daughters

Powerful Fall Assembly with Sherry Schumann as our speaker, helpful workshops, and a very special Eucharist including a musical meditation.

This is just the beginning of a list!

We have all been blessed with the opportunity to grow as children of God and to support our parishes with prayer, service, and evangelism. Daughters are using questions asked about their crosses to start conversations with others about knowing Christ.

Members of the clergy have been helpful in taking time to support Senior and Junior Daughters of the King in their parishes and for spiritual guidance. Bishop Skilton lead our Friendship trip for Junior Daughters to the Dominican Republic and continues to serve as our Chaplain for Province IV and as International Chaplain. Our own Assembly Chaplain, Pastor Bonnie Mefferd, has supported us with her prayers and guidance, serving on the Executive Board, and supporting DALs with renewal of vows.

Being a Daughter of the King is one of my greatest blessings.  As a Daughter I have a community of sisters to grow with in Christ each day. We need each other for encouragement when we're discouraged, for help when the load is heavy, for support when we need sisters who will take the time to listen, and most of all to stand together as we praise and worship our Lord.

Please know that I thank God for each of you and appreciate your encouragement, help, support, and enthusiasm! I send my prayers for a wonderful Thanksgiving for each of you and your loved ones.

Blessings for His sake,

Kathy
